Aztec Highway carries SRH clothing and accessories, but such was not always the case. Grab your reading glasses and sit back as we tell the epic tale of SRH:
In the Beginning…
SRH was founded in 1991, not just as a clothing company, but as a couple of friends putting on shows for bands that weren’t getting enough exposure. the beach/surf, urban skate and moto cultures all brought together by the common interest in good music. SRH was built on the premise of living the lifestyle, rather than just advertising an image. Many of the bands SRH did shows with had roots in these cultures, bands like KORN, 311, SUBLIME, PENNYWISE, KOTTONMOUTH KINGS, KNOX,OFFSPRINGS, INCUBUS and BLINK-182, to name a few. Our surf team was known for being one of the most innovated ever, with the likes of Joe Crimo, Justin Matteson and Adamvirs, The skate team consisted of rebel rousers as Jason Carney and Jason Rogers. And of course on the moto side, SRH sponsored Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg for many years. For many years, before Corporate America bought in on the “Extreme Sports” SRH put togethter it’s own contest, demos, concerts, etc., with the worlds best athletes.
SRH Moving Forward…
This year SRH is working hard to bring brand awareness to it’s deep roots and history in the music/surf/skate/moto markets. We are working with surfing, skateboarder, Transworld Moto, ESM, and Bliss. New addition to the Surf Team, Chad Compton, from Ventura, (cover of surfing May 07), and Nathan Carvalho, who has been dominating the NSSA’s in Hawaii this season and will be representing USA in France at The World Contest in May, will continue to give SRH a presence in the Surf World. On the skate front, Austen Seaholm, one of the best contest skaters int he world right now, will continue his quest for gold on Mountain Dew Series and in the X Games. Shane Allen, SRH’s newest addition to the Skate Team, just got a signature model on Sector 9 and will be on our tour this summer spreading the SRH gospel. Jamie Lovett will go for the 1st Annual Ultimate Boarder title (April 13-19) Jamie is know as one of the best all round surf, skim, wakeboard, and snowboard freak’s of nature look for him to dominate this event. Myles Richmond and Jim Mc Neil will continue touring and competing on a national level in the FMX realm. With annual events such as the SRH Glamis Invasion, SRH will continue to be an industry leader in the world of moto. Musically, SRH, continues to support and work with such bands as NOFX, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and KOTTONMOUTH KINGS, as well as working with up and coming bands like AUTHORITY ZERO.
